since 1888, the moose fraternal organization has focused on taking care of children, seniors, and bettering their surrounding community. roanoke moose lodge 284 embraces those values still today and, along with the women of the moose chapter 1022, are proud to serve the roanoke valley and craig county communities. our lodge offers a welcoming space for families, from children to seniors, and is therefore recognized by moose international as a moose family center. roanoke moose family center 284 offers a number of family friendly amenities and programs, including several annual open to the public events such as kids’ christmas and halloween parties, easter egg hunts, various live band opportunities, and special events. community service ================ the community service aspect of our lodge is a little bit different than other moose fraternal lodges because of the size of our facility. because we have the space that other lodges do not have, we have the ability to bring the communit
