many learners have language proficiency exams to write to get to the next step of their professional goals. . i can make it easier for them by teaching some strategies for writing the essay component of exams and how to write a winning paper. it’s the essay, the friendly and business lette, and the summary that is often the most difficult part of english proficiency exams. this is where many exam writers need that extra bit of help. my students have been reading and studying a manual for the ged test, the celpit_g or the celpit-a, the lpi, ielts or toefl. they may feel fairly confident about the test sections on usage, mechanics and sentence structure but it’s that writing section where they have to develop an essay that has examnees doubting themselves. i can assess writing level, provide specific suggestions for improvement and evaluate writing assignments based on the specific exam being prepared for. my goal is to have my studentswalk into that exam with the confidence and skills t
